Our biggest bag — long straps, inside and outside pockets, a key hook and a paracord zip pull.
Handmade bags from sails that have seen the sea.
New pieces are posted on Instagram first — @sailupcyclers
Used sails become handmade bags and pouches. Every piece carries wind, salt, and sun.
Small batches — each piece is unique, so prices are a starting point. Sail-number initials, and sometimes buttons or zippers, can be added for a little extra. Just ask when you enquire and we'll confirm the options, what's available, and arrange payment.

A boxy wash bag with a single bold sail stripe — wipes clean, stands on its own, holds more than it looks.
A slim clutch for the essentials, cut from the brightest sailcloth on the bench — made for long midsummer evenings.
Two triangles meeting in a square — a small zip pouch for coins, cables and little things, in whatever bright colours are on the bench.
Storm-torn or freshly replaced — your sail doesn’t belong in a landfill. We cut it into a crew pack: matching bags for everyone on board, keeping the sail number, the insignia, the details that made it yours. What’s left becomes more bags — nothing goes to waste.
A rolling selection of finished, one-off pieces — each cut from a single sail and stamped with its own number. When one is gone, it's gone; new pieces are posted on Instagram first.
